Trisha celebrates her engagement with her industry friends today
Actress Trisha got engaged to industrialist and film producer Varun Manian at a close family function yesterday. Only very close friends and relatives of Trisha and Varun Manian had been invited for the event.
Trisha, the ‘Miss Chennai’ winner in 1999, debuted in films as Simran’s friend in Jodi but debuted soon as solo heroine in 2002 with Mounam Pesiyadhe. In the industry now for more than 12 years, Trisha has starred opposite the likes of Kamal Haasan, Vijay, AjithKumar, Suriya, ‘Jayam’ Ravi, Vishal, Arya and Jiiva and to her credit, managed to retain her status of a frontline heroine all these years in Tamil and Telugu film industries.
She made a forgettable debut in Hindi with Khatta Meetha a few years back and realized Hindi films weren’t her cup of tea. Setting to rest all speculations about her marriage which had been doing rounds for the past few years, Trisha announced a few days back that she would be getting engaged to Varun Manian, producer of films such as Vaayai Moodi Pesavum and Kaaviya Thalaivan.
The engagement took place at Varun’s Alwarpet Venus Colony residence in Chennai in which relatives and friends of Varun Manian and Trisha took part.
Trisha is arranging for a grand party at a five-star hotel in Guindy today for the sake of her friends in the film industries of Tollywood and Kollywood. Let’s wish her in advance a happily married life!
