Shruti Haasan might play the solo heroine in Ajith’s next
It’s a case of fluctuating reports about who might play the female lead opposite Ajith Kumar in his next film after the super-success of his Gautham Vasudev Menon-directed Yennai Arindhaal. A couple of days after it was reported that both Nayantara and Shruti Haasan would be playing Ajith’s heroines, it now turns out that Shruti Haasan would be the sole heroine in the film.
Reports also said that for the film, which would be directed by Siva of Veeram fame, the latter had even finalized the title of Achchamillai and won Ajith’s approval for the same. The film is to commence with a formal muhurat on Tamil New Year Day on 14th January.
Samantha’s name first did the rounds as Ajith’s heroine in Siva’s film. She was then ‘replaced’ byHansika who is presently starring opposite Vijay in Chimbu Deven’s Puli. As it was strongly rumoured that it was a two-heroine script, some reports spoke ofBindu Madhavi and Shruti Haasan as the duo. The last set of rumours said Nayan and Shruti would be the final duo.
As on date, though, the makers have said that only Shruti Haasan is in the reckoning to play the heroine. A formal announcement in this regard is expected soon.
