Gautham Menon asks Simbu to be regular in his call-sheets for Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada
Gautham Vasudev Menon, who has carved a niche for himself in making romantic action films, is basking in the glory of the success of his latest film Yennai Arindhaal starring Ajith Kumar, Trisha, Anushka and Arun Vijay in the lead. Menon has announced that his next film would be starring Simbu in the lead.
Menon is credited for changing Simbu’s image from that of a brat to an actor of substance when he gave him the super-duper hit film Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya five years back.
Menon launched a film starring Simbu and PallaviSubhash some time back and after shooting for a few days, he started Yennai Arindhaal with Ajith and after the film’s success, he is now thinking of relaunching the Simbu-starrer.
Titling the film tentatively as Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada, Menon is starting the shooting schedule with immediate effect. If Pallavi is not available to shoot, Menon might replace her with some other heroine, sources close to him say. He is planning to shoot the film non-stop at a hectic pace and is planning to release it in summer either towards end-April or early-May.
Menon has also told Simbu that he wanted an assurance that he won’t go back to other projects for the next two months and would have to shoot only for his film.
If Simbu doesn’t agree to this condition, Menon has hinted that he might even drop the project. However, it is said that Simbu has agreed to his condition. We only hope Simbu keeps his words!
